Thank you for the good information you are giving on this site.
I have been badly infected with pinworms for about one year, and am beginning to get quite desperate.
I have for some months now been on an extremely strict hygienic regime (washing, clothing etc.), and the last month and a half I have tried wormwood, clove, black walnut hull tincture, Hulda Clark's zapping device and L-cycteine. (All this products recommended by Clark.) I am also doing enemas. All this did help a little, but when I took a large dose of Q-10, it all flared up again. (I wonder if this means that the parasites were forced out from where they are hiding or if the Q-10 actually was beneficial for them?)
I hoped that when I first started with the Clark products six weeks ago, it would soon be over, but realizes now that this will take time. After reading your views on the time perspective needed on parasite cleansing ("somewhere between the five-day cure and the four year-one"), I am again hopeful and optimistic (and more realistic, perhaps). But - what next?
My thoughts: I will continue taking clove daily. I will reduse sugar in my food. I have just started with pumpkin seeds (for chewing) and fennel tea. I am not sure whether I should order more wormwood and black walnut hull tincture, though. And I am also interested to know what ingredienses are used in Para Cleanse.
I realize that it's difficult to give the absolute answer, but what (else) would you recommend in a case like this?

I think that many people doing what they think is the right protocol are not actually using high enough quality products, but this is only part of the problem. For instance, with the cloves, unless they are really fresh and not irradiated, I can't imagine they are useful. Good spices have a terrific aroma because of the volatile oils, but irradiation is drying. Most spices are irradiated, not with a little radiation but 35,000 times the amount allowable in chest x-rays. They are irritating when dry. Cloves are actually flower buds and they are quite delicate so you need really lovely ones straight from India or Sri Lanka or perhaps Madagascar, not ones that were imported in huge quantities and then nuked.
Likewise, there are lots of different black walnut tinctures out there. Hulda Clarke was adamant about using the green hulls and people I know who worked with her say their tinctures are green, but I have yet to see a green tincture. They are all brown or almost black.
Even the wormwood isn't always what Clarke specified. She said absinthe, not annua! So, people are putting together formulas that may or may not be what she suggested. Also, I think that when one makes one's own, it might be better to use apple cider vinegar instead of alcohol to extract since it seems to be a better vermicide.
However, it's a lot more complicated than this and when none of the normal products work, you have try the other ones. Some essential oils are much stronger than herbs. Some people are using stronger formulas, ones containing black cumin seed, pomegranate bark, and ailanthus. The problem is that there are so many folds in the intestines that the parasites can basically hide anywhere or even under the membrane lining of the intestines. Persistence therefore pays off, lots and lots of persistence.
I might, however, make a distinction that some people are missing. There are herbs called vermifuges and ones called vermicides. The "fuges" flush out worms whereas the "cides" poison them. Of these, the "fuges" tend to be less toxic but more stimulating to peristalsis. It means that if you try this, you really need to be careful of fluid loss. You could also lose a lot of intestinal flora (which will also happen with the enemas) and you could upset a lot of functions of the colon, but it's probably a situation in which the end justifies the means. With the "cides" you are exposing yourself to some toxicity but hoping the worms are more vulnerable than they are. This isn't necessarily the case because they are hugely adaptive.

They lay eggs so even if some die, there could always be new ones. It's an ongoing battle. Many people do routine parasite cleanses: every full moon, every three months, every six months, once a year. It's important to be on top of the challenges. |

I've read your correspondance regarding parasite infection, however I'm still not sure which product(s) you recommend. Where can I find them? I believe my 4 year old son and I suffer from parasite infection from a recent trip to Mexico and I would like to start treatment. |
