Hello Ingrid, For the last couple of months I have suffered from chronic outer ear infections. It first started when I moved from an area that had hard water to my parents house where they have extremely soft water. If I dose my ears with hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol I can stave them off but if I stop it flares up again. We have recently moved to a new house which has hard water again, and I have successfully not needed to use the alcohol and hydrogen peroxide but I do have a chronic itching in the ears.. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you Jennifer |

It's hard to say what causes these symptoms. It could be an infection or parasite. Many people put garlic cloves or a medicated oil (containing garlic and other herbs) in their ears. I have the oil if you want to e-mail me using one of the links on this site. |
